Suez Canal Museum has witnessed today the flocking of visitors since the early morning hours; including tourists from Spain and a group from Ismailia youth scouts, to get a closer look at the story of the Suez Canal and its history through the collectibles on-display and the scenario of the museum exhibition.
The visit included a tour of the museum halls while being accompanied by archaeologists and officials from the Museum. Visitors also got to learn about the items on-display as well as the artefacts within the Museum; in its outdoor yard and indoor patio.
The visitors were impressed by the Museum and praised its rare collectibles and artefacts dating back to the period the digging of the Suez Canal started.
The Museum continues to welcome visitors all week long from 9 am to 3 pm during the soft opening period.
