I was truly honored to visit the educational and historical Suez Canal Museum. The museum highlights Egyptian ingenuity across civilizations, especially the efforts of the Egyptian people in the 19th century to construct this engineering marvel—the Suez Canal—that benefits the entire world. I am grateful to the entire team who graciously hosted me and my family on this remarkable tour."
With these words full of praise for Egyptian civilization and the ability of Egyptians to achieve the extraordinary, Mr. Raza Shahid, Acting Ambassador of Pakistan in Cairo, described his impressions of the Suez Canal Museum. In his written remarks in the visitors’ logbook, he commended the museum’s vital role in education and awareness.
For our part, we take pride in being a part of the living history that tells the story of Egypt’s civilization and the brilliance of its people. We pledge that the museum will continue to stand as a witness to the achievements that Egypt has accomplished and continues to accomplish on it's blessed land, earning the recognition and poistion it rightfully deserves among nations.
