Following his meeting with H.E. Admiral Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, His Excellency Ambassador Gareth Bayley, the British Ambassador to Cairo, along with his accompanying delegation, made a point of visiting the Suez Canal Museum to explore its most notable collections and modern exhibitions presented to its guests.
During the visit, the museum's guests listened to a detailed presentation on the most significant historical phases of the Suez Canal, tracing its evolution to its current global stature as a vital maritime passage connecting East and West, through which a major share of global trade flows.
The visitors expressed their admiration for the museum’s rich collection and its various sections documenting the history of the Suez Canal and the key events that have taken place in the region. They emphasized the museum's growing role as a prominent Egyptian.
